In a recent quick stop at Goodwill I found the following two items. It was a quick trip to Goodwill, and this will in turn be a quick post for Halloween!
Each of these guys cost me .99 cents. They both put off the appearance of vintage items, but I don't believe either of them actually are. I think these were both produced fairly recently.
First up is this old-school plastic mask in the style of the old Ben Cooper-style costumes. Have no real clear idea who this is supposed to represent, but he looks like the London After Midnight villain crossed with Grape Ape. Or something. I fell in love with it at first sight. It is now a permanent fixture in the cave.
Next is this little pumpkin which at first glance appears to be a blow-mold, but is actually a much harder, more solid, and more rigid plastic. It is adorable though, and looks like a vintage decoration. Again, it was a piece I picked up and fell in love with at once.
Well, I warned you this one was going to be short, and I delivered! Sometimes Halloween magic can be found in such small little packages. That's it for me tonight kids! I'll be back soon with more Grimacing Goodwill Goodies! Until then, Happy Haunting!
